Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers Cover (In the style of Eva Cassidy)
You ever want something
That you know you shouldn't have
The more you know you shouldn't have it
The more you want it
And then one day
You get it
And it's so good to you
But it's just like my girl
When she's around me
I just feel so good
So good
But right now I just feel cold
So cold
Right down to my bones 'causeHe
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she always gone to long anytime she goes away, hay
Wonder this time where she's gone
Wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away (anytime she goes away)
Hm
Ooh, no, no, no, no
Ooh, no, no, no, no
Ooh, no, no, no, no
Ooh, no, no
All I need (all I need)
I ought to leave the young thing alone
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone (ain't no sunshine when she's gone)
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone (ain't no sunshine when she's gone)
Only darkness everyday (Only darkness everyday)
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away (anytime she goes away)
Do, do, do, do, do, ooh (ain't no sun)
Do, do, do, do, do (ain't no sun)
(no, no, no, no, no, no, no) ooh
(no, no, no) ooh, ooh
Anytime she goes away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone (ain't no sunshine when she's gone)
(it's not warm when she goes away) It's not warm when she away
(Ain't no sunshine when she's gone)
And she's always gone too long
Anytime she goes away (ain't no sunshine when she gone)
Anytime she goes away
Anytime she goes away
Anytime she goes away (ain't no sunshine when she goes)
Anytime she goes away (Only everyday)
Anytime she goes away
Anytime she goes away (ain't no sunshine when she goes)
Anytime she goes away (ain't no sunshine when she goes)
Song Summary:
I have heard this song before. My grandma played it in the car once. I didn't hear this version but instead I heard the version by Eva Cassidy. I like the version by Eva Cassidy better than the version by Bill Withers. I love the way her voice sounds when she is singing the song. She is singing about a guy that left her which she she should be sad about but instead she sound powerful and in charge of the situation. This song is not relevant to my life because I have never being in a relationship like that.
Elements of Music:
Dynamics: Soft at first but gets loud at parts of the song.
Tempo: Slow
